"Piranha" barbed mesh

Piranha razor mesh is a flat razor wire obstacle specially designed to manufacture and strengthen the design of various types of fences and barriers. The Kayman barbed mesh represents a failure of a sheet of Egoza-Kayman razor wire with a diameter of 3.8 mm wide from 2 to 2.7 and a length of 10 meters. Such dimensions allow either to erect a fence from the Piranha barbed mesh and auxiliary structures, or to strengthen any fence, as well as protect it from undermining.

Piranha barbed mesh is made on automatic equipment of Egoza-Kayman razor wire with a diameter of 3.8 mm, having a core of high-carbon wire EN 50189 with a diameter of 2.8 mm with a zinc coating 80-100 g/m² and barbed tapes made of steel EN 10346 with a thickness of 0.5 mm with a zinc coating of 140-200 g/m². The Kayman razor mesh consists of parallel Kayman barbed wires stitched together by a clips of type "Super", forming a grid with diamond-shaped cells. Piranha razor mesh with a roll length of 10 m and a width of 2, 2.4 and 2.7 m is serially produced from Kayman razor wire, and other sizes of razor mesh are also available on request.

Piranha razor mesh is a specialized type of razor wire obstacle, therefore it has a narrow scope – fences, but in this area the Kayman razor mesh is very effective. Using a barbed mesh, any pillars and a tension wire, you can create a temporary or permanent fence of the territory, which is highly effective, or you can strengthen the design of the old fence, for example, from a chain-link fence, significantly increasing its protective properties. One of the most effective use cases for the Kayman razor mesh is the welded panel fence, on which the barbed mesh is fixed. In this case, the metal fence provides high strength, and the razor mesh – increases the protective properties of the fence several times.

This design of the fence is the basis for further strengthening the perimeter protection – it can be equipped with undermining protection in the form of additional welded panels or buried in the ground with the same barbed mesh, can be installed on top of the fence Kayman concertina or flat security barrier, CCTV cameras can be installed on poles, and a vibration-sensitive cable can be laid by the design of the fence and connected to warning system. And most importantly, the Piranha razor mesh has significant differences from other types of razor wire barriers, especially regarding its installation, therefore only professional installers can properly stretch and install the Kayman razor mesh.
