Kayman pyramidal barrier

Kayman pyramidal razor wire security barrier

Kayman pyramidal barrier consists of several Kayman concertina barriers, connected in parallel in the form of a pyramid. Typically, the design of the pyramidal barrier includes 3, 6 or 10 concertinas of the same or different diameters. Such a construction of the barrier was not chosen for a reason – it should provide reliable protection of the fenced area without the use of poles, foundations, fences or other similar structures. Pyramidal barriers are intended for use on rough terrain when the soil topography does not allow the use of traditional methods of fencing the territory or makes their use too costly.

Kayman pyramidal barrier allows, firstly, to create a stable fence on any terrain, and secondly, to make it high enough without additional structures, which is not always possible when using a single concertina, even a large diameter. Concertinas of different diameters are usually used in pyramids of 3 concertinas – the two lower ones with a smaller diameter and the upper one with a larger one, by the way, a similar version of the pyramidal barrier is used in the design of the Kayman quick-realize barrier installed from cars. In pyramidal barriers of 6 or 10 spirals, all concertinas must be of the same diameter for reliable connection to each other. In the design of the Kayman pyramidal barrier, concertinas of any diameter can be used, but in any case, the lower concertinas should have a sufficient number of clips connecting the turns to provide the necessary rigidity to the barrier.

The installation of the Kayman pyramidal barrier is not an easy task, especially when it comes to large diameter concertinas, so it’s best to entrust this work to professionals. Despite the fact that the pyramidal barrier has a stable structure and reliably stands on the surface, during installation it is necessary to ensure its fixation to the ground in order to avoid displacement or attempt to raise part of the pyramidal barrier. For the installation of the Kayman pyramidal barrier, metal stakes from reinforcement and profile, columns of various heights, screw piles and much more can be used – it all depends on the design of the barrier, the area where it is installed, as well as the moment the fence will be placed temporarily or permanently. The most reliable installation of the Kayman pyramidal barrier is provided using screw piles, to which the reinforcement is laid, which is laid in the lower concertinas of the pyramidal obstacle. With this fastening of the Kayman pyramidal barriers, it can neither be lifted, nor moved, nor separated from the ground in any way.
