Egoza razor tape is used to make several types of razor wire, including Egoza-Kayman razor wire. Egoza razor tape is made of galvanized steel using modern stamping equipment, it differs in the aggressive shape of the spikes with sharp razor edges and a large radius of rounding of the base, which ensures their high strength. Egoza barbed tape can be used as an independent means of fencing the territory, but this is extremely undesirable due to the low tensile strength of the razor tape.
Egoza razor tape has a width of 19.0 mm, a thickness of 0.5 mm, a section width for crimping the core of 7.5 mm, a blade length of 16.0 mm and a spacing of the spikes of 30.0 mm, the radius of rounding of the bases of the spikes is 2.5 mm. This type of razor tape allows you to reliably crimping the core with a diameter of 2.4-2.9 mm, in the design Egoza-Kayman barbed wire uses a spring wire with a diameter of 2,8 mm. The Egoza barbed tape is made of EN 10346 coiled steel with a zinc coating of 140-290 g/m2, which reliably protects the barbed tape from corrosion. The design of the stamp provides high cutting properties of the razor tape and the integrity of the zinc coating, which subsequently allows the operation of razor wire security barriers for decades even in difficult environmental conditions.
